About Us
What do we do?
- We convey the beauty and the truth of Islam in an effective personal manner to the general America public by establishing free-information booths in public places like farmer’s markets and malls.
- We provide a channel for people to follow up through a toll free number and personal email correspondence through our web site.
- We train, practice and challenge each other in our weakly meetings (sign up as a volunteer to find locations near you) in a very cordial environment, which is especially geared towards learning and polishing our communication and Dawa skills.
- We base our methodology on “Reason” and “Logic” and call upon the “intellect” of a person to discover the truth of Islam.
- We fight the flood of misinformation about Islam through free leaflets on important subjects written by renowned scholars.
- We strongly feel that Muslim community has an obligation to present Quran to the General American society and we do so, free of charge, through our information booths.
What have we done so far?
- We have put up several free-information booths in open markets of Torrance, Palos Verdes, Santa Monica etc that had huge crowds. Overall response from the general public has been very positive. For Muslims who saw us there, it was a moment of ecstasy. We were told that they felt extremely proud of us and that it helped raise their morale. We heard encouraging words from non-Muslims as well. Some of them engaged us in very healthy and objective discussions. We distributed a lot of literature and ran out of Qurans.
- We invited non-Muslims for an iftar dinner during last Ramadan in El Camino College for an interfaith outreach and educational program that proved to be successful. We gave out a free copy of Quran and brochures to all non-Muslim attendees.
- We have developed ourselves into an organized and disciplined organization. Currently we are holding our turbiyah and planing meetings every Sunday morning in Lomita Musjid from 8:45 to 10:45. In our turbiyah session, we study and research different religions and ideologies on comparative bases and sharpen our intellectual faculties. We raise questions and research answers for most commonly tossed questions in the field.
- We are working with the Torrance public library in order to make “Fact of Creation Series” documentary videos from Harun Yahya, part of the public circulation. These documentaries have great potential for Dawa. Since these items will carry the name of our group and our toll free number to the library shelve, it will greatly help in promoting our cause.
- We are working with Torrance Cable TV (TCTV) channel to acquire airtime to broadcast programs that might have potential of influencing public positively about Islam.
- We have a couple of email groups that we use to keep each other posted and also for exchange of ideas on policy or research topics.

- You can help us by increasing the general awareness of the importance of Dawa and motivating your respective communities.
- You can help us reach out the Muslim community by introducing our group (in Friday sermons, masjid notice boards, word of mouth etc) and encourage our Muslim brothers and sisters to join us by volunteering their time for this dignified cause.
