He was blessed to complete the memorization of the Holy Quran at the tender age of fifteen. In South Africa, he studied fiqh, hadith, Quran, Arabic and all related sciences. He has been involved in dawah for a very long time. He is also a noted social worker and has served as imam for a number of communities. He established Riyadhul Uloom Institute in Torrance, CA, an educational institute, to provide maktab, hifz and adult education. Shaykh Junaid is married and blessed with six children, mashAllah.
